Tuesday, May 5th, 2009

TORONTO
May 12-15 2009
Suma is thrilled to be participating in The Kids’ World of Energy Festival, for a second year in a row! The festival, coordinated by the Toronto Renewable Energy Co-operative (a.k.a TREC), brings together over 4000 students from across the GTA to explore the relationship of energy to our lives and life on the planet. Taking place on the grounds of the Exhibition Place from May 12th to May 15th, kids have the unique opportunity to discover the science and manifestations of energy in an urban environment. www.trec.on.ca

This year Suma will be taking Alice – our GREEN bio-bus to the festival once again to conduct workshops on DYI sustainable energy projects. We’ll be speaking specifically on veggie oil conversions and small scale solar possibilities.
