Suma Manifesto
A plan to achieve collective solidarity
The aim of this manifesto is to help ourselves and others with collective decision making.

- We are all equals within this collective; Treat everyone with respect and dignity
- WE>I … We are a collective working towards a common vision; There are no sides to be taken.
- Respect and uphold the decisions of the collective; Hold true our intentions and common visions.
- Think of what is best for the whole collective and the endeavours we partake in; remember that your actions affect the whole.
- Compromise is a positive component for collective decision making.
- Do not speak publicly on behalf of the collective if consensus has not been reached.
- Assist and cooperate with one another.
- Admit your mistakes.
- Learn to listen.
- Actions speak louder than words.
- Share information.
- Always make time for those who ask of it.
- Use “I” statements; avoid blaming “you” statements.
- Deal with issues past, present and future, avoid personalizing and stick to the topic at hand.
- Trust in each other.
- Support each other both emotionally and energetically.
- Use thoughtful and proactive observation instead of thoughtless intervention.
- Never send out an e-mail angry.
- Long meetings usually do more harm than good.
- Know your limitations and take on what you can. Ask for help when needed or when feeling overwhelmed.
- Remember to breath and take care of yourself both physically and mentally – take responsibility for yourself.
- Celebrate our differences (even if you are irritated by them).
- Be creative; Take risks; Change is good and necessary.
- Know when to take time out; Sometimes you need to just let go.
- Welcome the ‘new’
- We are friends and family … never compromise this.
- Fun is always permissible!
Take time to join in circle with one another … remember OM …
