Jaxamuse

Jacqueline Levitt (a.k.a jackie) is a Toronto based illustrator, artist, and community organizer. From gouache illustrations to papermache puppets, her work is richly textured, organic, and celebratory. She received her Bachelor of Design from the Ontario College of Art and Design in 2004.

Jackie is also a playful and patient Art Educator. She has taught Visual Art at the Art Gallery of Ontario, in Public Schools in the Toronto District School Board, and in various community and educational settings around Canada. She is currently working on her Bachelor of Education at the University of Toronto, with a focus on Inner City Education.
